Explorer Post 790

Explorers are affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America. Exploring gives young adults an opportunity to have hands on experience in a career field.

Rossford Explorer Post 790 explores the world of fire fighting and are able to assist our firefighters in protecting our city. The explorers learn the proper use of fire trucks, hoses and other fire fighting equipment, with hands on experience. Explorers are required to complete CPR and Standard First Aid certification along with the fire training. Yearly activities include touring various fire stations, attending fire musters, conventions, camp outs, and doing volunteer work. Exploring is open to all young adults from age 14 thru 21. Interested youth from adjoining communities are welcome.
 
If you are interested in joining the Rossford Fire Explorer Post, please fill out the attached application and return to the Rossford Fire Station during normal business hours.

Meetings are held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesdays, the first Wednesday of the month is an organizational meeting. The remaining Wednesdays contain a variety of firefighting and EMS topics, with classroom and hands on instruction.
During the summer meetings are held every Wednesday evening, starting at 6:00 pm.
Dues: $65.00 collected annually.
