Waste Management Yard Waste and Recycling Details

Beginning September 1, 2020, the Waste Management recycling program will transition to residents being billed directly. Waste Management is planning an informational mailing - watch for a postcard.  Your recycling collection will remain exactly as it is on the same day, every other week, with your 96-gallon cart, for a monthly charge of $8.90.  If you choose not to continue your recycling service, leave your recycling cart (yellow lid) at the curb after collection on August 26 or September 2. …

Hydrant Flushing Maintenance

June 1 - November 21

Northwestern Water and Sewer District will be flushing and providing maintenance on fire hydrants in various locations throughout Wood County through November 2020, weekdays, 7:30 am - 4 pm.  Be mindful of possible rusty water when using tap water or doing laundry. CLOSURE – Lime City Road & SR65 Roundabout DETOUR

SR65 will be closed starting Monday, July 20, 2020, at Lime City and Colony roads for the Roundabout construction.  Plan on closure to last 60+ days. The City of Rossford Marina, 300 Hannum Avenue, will be open through October 18, 2020.  Patrons of the Marina are being asked to abide by all safety protocols including maintaining the six foot social distancing guidelines between themselves and other boaters. The Marina will be monitored and any patrons congregating in groups will be asked to disperse. Voter Registration Deadline for November 3 General Election

Deadline to register for the 2020 General Election is Monday, October 5th.   Contact Wood County Board of Elections 1-419-354-9120 or refer to the Board of Elections website for any questions such as address changes, early voting, absentee voting, or to view candidate listings.  All voting for Rossford residents will be held at St. George Church Hall, 738 Glenwood Road, 6:30AM to 7:30PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd.
