Rockin’ Rossford – Race for Recovery

October 23 @ 7:00 am - 10:30 am

Plan for road closures on Saturday, October 23, the 2021 Rockin’ Rossford Race for Recovery 10K, 5K, and 1 mile walk will start at 7am and be complete by approximately 10:30am. This event will close several streets to vehicular traffic – no vehicles will be allowed on route while runners are present.  Residents or Business Owners in the “locked in” areas, please plan ahead to park your vehicles outside of the closed area prior to the start of the race – roads on the race path will be shut down.  Please make other arrangements for this race time period – for safety reasons you will not be able to drive in or out.  Shuttles will be available. We are planning that all roads should be open by 10:30am.

Golf cart shuttles will be available. Please park your vehicle Friday night or prior to 7am in an area with access, such as Helen Drive, Jennings Road, Windsor Drive, Hannum Avenue or the Rossford Marina. To schedule a shuttle, prior arrangements must be made with City Hall by calling 419-666-0210 during normal business hours.  Road closures for the Race will be:  StRt 65/Dixie Hwy from Bergin to Colony Road, Eagle Point Road, Colony Road, all of the Eagle Point Colony subdivision, Homestead, Highland, Hidden Cove, Birch, Cherry, Harbor Point, Central, Hillside, Hillview, Colony Court, Eagle Ridge, Rossway, Vineyard and Groce.

Once again, Residents and Business Owners that need to use the above listed streets during the race closure need to park their vehicles outside of the closed area prior to the start of the race. Shuttles will be available. No vehicular traffic will be allowed while runners are present; the route will be open to emergency vehicles. Any concerns, call the Rossford Police Department at 419-666-7390 or Dispatch at 419-666-5230.  .

The Race is organized by Racing for Recovery, based in Holland, Ohio.  It is a nonprofit organization with a mission to prevent substance abuse and improve the quality of life for addicts and their loved ones by promoting a lifestyle of health, fitness, and sobriety.  For more information, visit
