Waste Management Yard Waste and Recycling Details

April 29 - November 25

Beginning September 1, 2020, the Waste Management recycling program will transition to residents being billed directly. Waste Management is planning an informational mailing - watch for a postcard.  Your recycling collection will remain exactly as it is on the same day, every other week, with your 96-gallon cart, for a monthly charge of $8.90.  If you choose not to continue your recycling service, leave your recycling cart (yellow lid) at the curb after collection on August 26 or September 2. …

Hydrant Flushing Maintenance

Northwestern Water and Sewer District will be flushing and providing maintenance on fire hydrants in various locations throughout Wood County through November 2020, weekdays, 7:30 am - 4 pm.  Be mindful of possible rusty water when using tap water or doing laundry.
